WHY THE NAME BRONTE?

Long before Bronte Beach, NSW, there was Bronte—a tiny town at the base of Mt. Etna in Sicily, Italy. It was here, almost 99 years ago, that our co-founder Camille's Nonna was born. Migrating to Australia, the name Bronte lives on in her great-granddaughter, Miela Bronte.

Our co-founder, Georgie, grew up in the beachside town of Caloundra. With multiple generations of her family all Australian surf live savers, she spent her childhood in the ocean as a nipper at Caloundra MET.

So, when it came to conceptualising our beloved body care brand, looking to Bronte Beach, Sydney, felt like a natural fit.
