Long before Bronte Beach, NSW, there was Bronte—a tiny town nestled at the base of Mt. Etna in Sicily, Italy. It was here, almost 99 years ago, that our co-founder Camille's Nonna was born. Migrating to Australia, the name Bronte lives on in her great-granddaughter, Miela Bronte.

Our co-founder, Georgie, grew up in the beachside town of Caloundra. With multiple generations of her family all Australian surf live savers, she spent her childhood in the ocean as a nipper at Caloundra MET. So, when it came to conceptualising our beloved body care brand, looking to Bronte Beach, Sydney, felt like a natural fit.
